THE ROLE OF THE JOINT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY COMMITTEE (JHSC)
Identify hazards, make written recommendations for improvements, obtain information regarding process or testing of any equipment, device, material for the purpose of occupational health & safety.
       
THE WORKER MEMBER
Entitled to be present at the beginning of testing, inspect the workplace, inform JOHSC of actual or potential hazards, assist a worker who refuses work on the grounds that it endangers health or safety. Your worker members are Lois Scott, Liisa Glover and Josh Handlarski.
       
WHAT IS A HEALTH & SAFETY CONCERN?
Any hazard or potential hazardous condition present in the workplace that could result in a work-related accident , disease or injury.
